We start our day in a thick mist. Covering our loose emerald fit, and making for an easy wake up with coffee and breakfast.
This day is dedicated to prove JCB didn’t hide the box, in an area that fits a mid-’layer’ of the P&F puzzles. I wanted to eliminate trickery. I had my solve of the chapter. And there were, a few twists built in it seemed, so maybe he built one into the location as well. Took a player too far, like the Easter egg in Adventure, kind of thing.
I had initially scouted this area the week before, on a short 2 day trip out. Now back in this area, there are 3 “zones” that fit. I was looking for things that hopefully were interpreted correctly, or incorrectly.
After feeding the dogs, I leashed them up, and headed out on the trail for Zone 1. I had 3 spots on this trail to mark off, and the trail was over 3 miles long. One parking area at either end, therefore the “3 mile” mention could be from either one, depending on which part of the layer was being fit.
There were bridges to go over, benches to sit at, and even some rocks that looked like the moon. The mossy rocks, and trees, traveling under, over, and in between many things.
Clues that I think matter, don’t quite align with Zone 1 though. 3 miles out, and back, and all the walking around in the zone.
